By combining general-purpose equipment with specialty machines built in-house by Ohmura, we are able to achieve high efficiencies and low costs on our mass production lines. Ohmura began building its own equipment in 1966. It was through the repair of general-purpose equipment that our people began to accumulate the knowledge they needed to build special-purpose machines. The basic concept underlying Ohmura’s specialty machines is “to be people friendly and environmentally friendly.” How can we maximize output with a minimum of input in creating our own equipment?
