Mass Produced Products
Our client company
Technology and Parts
A unique feature of Ohmura’s mass production line is that by combining Ohmura-built specialty production equipment with general-purpose machines, we can assure production at the lowest possible cost.
By devising our own production approaches here at Ohmura, we achieve production at the best possible cost.
The hot forged products made out our Niigata Plant (Ohmura Inc.) are ground and polished at the Karako Plant in an integrated production process that goes from raw materials to finished parts.
Plant Floor
Ohmura’s production lines are the fruit of continuous improvement (kaizen) activities on the production floor.
With the notion that “1 second = 1 yen,” and with the slogan “eliminate, reduce, change,” we make ongoing improvements in the manufacturing process based on a firm belief in the importance of what happens on the plant floor. The slogan means that we constantly ask ourselves, “Can this step be eliminated?” “Can it be reduced?” or if that
proves impossible, “Can the step be changed?” This is where improvements start, and that’s how we have created the efficient production lines we have today.
A unique feature of the Ohmura approach is that our Machine Department combines general-purpose production machines with machines of our own design and construction, insuring that plant floor improvement activities are implemented so that production work goes forward smoothly.
Forging
The Niigata Plant (Ohmura Inc.), located in Gosen, Niigata combines a forging facility with upset forging, which is a kind of hot forging process.
This forging method is especially suited to the production of shaft products. The Niigata Plant performs forging and then machining operations, and some of the parts are then ground and polished at the Karako Plant to produce finished products.
